Hi There! Circle punches in a variety of sizes are a must for my craft room. Here are a few ways I like to use circle punches.

Punched circles make a great anchor for an embellishment cluster. For this use I reach for one of my larger punches like a 2 inch punch. An example of this is in the cluster in the top left.

Having punches in graduated sizes allows me to create layered embellishments. For example, on this layout I layered a 1 punched circle of pattern paper on a 1 ¼ punched circle of black cardstock. To add dimension just insert a foam square between the layers.

Circle punches are a great way to turn scraps of paper into embellishments. You can see an example of this in the right top and left top embellishment clusters on this layout. I turn the punch upside down, so I can see the area being punched. Its a fast, fun way to turn scraps into embellishments.

When Im low on embellishments or need something to anchor an embellishment cluster I reach for my circle punches.

Happy Scrapping!
