Photos of my DGS, Allen, with his varsity team and with his parents on Senior night at the football game. I printed the large photo on white card stock and added a white overlay to fade out the faces of all the players except for my grandson and the "Pace Football" at the top of the announcer's box. Top left photo is when he was introduced as a senior player with his parents and siblings. His mama posted the journaling online and I just copied it to put on this page for him...I'm sure he'll appreciate it when he's older! :-) The title work and the football were designed in the Silhouette program and cut out with the Cameo. Tag over the bottom right photo is a stamp from Elle Studio.
Journaling from his Mama reads: We walked on the field to escort him for senior night. It's so true what they say - the days may be long but the years are short. I am so proud of him and the way he honored his commitment to the game, to his team, and to himself. There is no doubt that he learned as much from football as he did from his academics. He learned how to win, how to lose, how to lead, and how to accept feedback - the opportunities and strengths. He leaves all he has on that field every day. Football has taught him the lessons of life. It's done an excellent job. I think he's pretty amazing. He not only does his part on the field, he excels in the classroom. He excels as a person. We love our #75!
