glued strips of DSP to a lightweight layer base paper. Sewed up one edge with straight stitch, then sewed a ZIG ZAG pattern up the center of the butterfly dsp. I cut all the zig zags apart and trimmed so just the little bit of the thread stuck out for texture. Stamped image on T Holtz Tonic stamping platform, used alcohol marker to color onto face and ribbon and dye ink marker for coloring in hair. fussy cut a butterfly from the dsp (at left) and stitched a friendship knot into the center of the butterfly to attach. used a small piece of yellow bakers twine for the bow in hair, punched a few holes and sewed it thru and then twisted it open in wide spots. Fussy cut out image and mounted on foam tape.
