A magical story from last Christmas when my (then 6 year old) granddaughter started her letter to Father Christmas with a request for a gift of earmuffs for a little boy in her school who had really enjoyed wearing hers! When my husband and I saw what she had written, we went all out to complete the surprise. We got some earmuffs, wrapped them, and surreptitiously gave them to an elf when we took the girls to visit Santa. He was fabulous, telling her he knew all about this little chap, and asking her to be his special helper and deliver the gift in person. It was such a wonderful story, it totally deserved a double page! I asked his mum if I could share it, but have blocked out his name for privacy.
Inside the envelope is the secret story of how we arranged it all, but while we still have a 'believer' the story will stay secret!
Lots of journalling was essential for this one! So this fits with the November 2022 Journalling challenge for more than 50 words! Lots of Christmas glitz and bling!
