This little journal that I made was inspired by the botanical Christmas ephemera by Tim Holtz. It measures about 3 inches by 5 inches but it is really fat because there are lots of little tags and cards and of course embellishments. I used dies from Sizzix Specimen, Postal, and Collector to build the pages. I bound them together using some vintage crushed velvet ribbon using a tab binding. I have shown only the main pages but each of the top tabs marks where the specimen folders open up to flat collaged pages with magnets holding them closed. I embossed many of the botanical images with Seth Apter vintage beeswax EP. The little brass bows are from my collection of vintage jewelry findings. Thanks for looking. I appreciate your comments.
