Give a Cheer
The journaling is under the Fun flap: I wanted to do one last water-related activity to end summer. My coworker, Ashlee, is always looking for things to get her son to try new things and expand his horizons, so I invited them o join me. We settled on Lake Ann. I grew up fishing, ice fishing and playing in this lake and it was nice to revisit it. It started out rough - there was a reggae festival going on, taking up all the parking spaces; Ashley got lost a block away and took 45 minutes to figure her way out; because of the crowds, it was impossible to inflate my SUP and then came the icing on the cake. The little dock only rented kayaks and paddle boats. Ive never kayaked before. Decided to not let all this ruin my day and, in the end, we had a blast!!
