Magnolia Rouge canvas by Tanya Cloete

prepped my canvas with black gesso.

Next I added some texture with stencil and sand texture paste on the bottom section. I also created some extra texture over the stenciled area. Once this was dry I gave my canvas another coat of black gesso. I then highlighted the raised areas with vintage gold metallique wax.

Next I tore a piece from one of the sheets from the collection to fit my canvas and created a pretty border on the edge with a punch. I adhered this to the top section of the canvas.

I created some castings with air dry clay and the Magnolia Rouge mould and. I painted these with black gesso and highlighted them with metallique paint and wax.

I layered my photo on some of the pattern paper and adorned it with the mould castings, fussy cut flowers, the collection's stunning flowers, ephemera, chipboard stickers, glitter and siic.
