Rob this is such a gorgeous card. Every detail is so thoughtfully put together. Love those gorgeous flowers and the beautiful ribbon tie and the lovely lace. I am sure that it is treasured by the person you made it for.
This card took way to long to post. I swear my projects are piling up! This is one that was put together just before Covid hit. So that makes it what over two years old now? A very old friend contacted me after seeing one of my cards I had made for someone else and asked if I would be willing to make one for her. Well, since I had some extra time I put this beauty together for her. It's interesting to look back on your older work. Especially cards like this that I didn't feel great about at the time. Now, looking at it I'm very proud to call it my own.
A number of things were purchased at good ol' HB once upon a time. The paper is from the "Bloom" pack by Graphic 45. The leaves and branch is from a Prima set. The embossing is a Tim Holtz stamp (seems to be my favorite because I use it all the time), and the white embossing powder is from Ranger. I used some pink paper cord through out the spellbinders die. I'd have to look at which one specifically. Feel free to ask. The crystals are Swarovski (as I always say, it's well worth the extra). I don't remember where I got the lady bug beads anymore. I LOVE them though! The big purple flower was redone slightly. And I sprayed the whole thing with the Scotch Super 77 adhesive, then glittered it! I wish it showed up more in pictures, but oh well. The tiny blue flowers were hand made. Thanks for looking everybody!!!
