So this is my most recent project! I made this for a lovely couple whom have been such good friends of the family and who rarely get much attention or love from those around them. I thought they needed a little pick me up. So this is what resulted. It's not what I had anticipated for them at all. However, I couldn't be happier with the final result!

This paper is one of those gorgeous pads from DCWV (DieCutWithAView). Their papers are only one sided, but the foil and glitter on their papers are fantastic. The leaves are all cut from mirror paper, and it's one of Sizzix's die sets. The Water Lilly is one of my own creations. It's cut from Mulberry/Rice paper. Funny enough, this paper (which is from Black Ink) I thought was a more fibrous type of paper, but when I received it, it's silk smooth, yet with a slight texture to it. In the end it cuts beautifully on my Cricut, and it is wonderful for flowers! The little cherry blossoms are also made with the same paper, and the centers are done with prills. The branch is DIY, and was made with wire, hot glue (for the tips), and prills. I think I'll try a bit of a different technique than this next time. The swirls are also wire. While the curly cues are some paper cord. Some aluminum roses are tucked in and amongst the mulberry roses. Swarovski crystyal are used here and there. The bottle is filled with beads and some butterfly and heart glitter. The fans were hand made as well. The metal fan is a magnetic clasp. Amazing how fun that is, but the magnets really can cause all sorts of issues with lots of metal embellishments. I had to recut the chains next to the bottle several times. Oh well, it is what it is. I love the way it came out!

As always, thank you for taking a look!!!
