I try to make at least one ornament each Christmas to add to our collection. This year, I got a little carried away! LoL I just found these to be so much fun to make! I had quite a few mishaps. My Gorilla name brand hot glue gun that has low and high settings quit working after the first ornament so I had to use the old gun that only has HOT setting so I almost burned off a couple of fingers. I had forgotten how messy hot glue can be and then, the directions called for 2MM foam and I had 1MM and I really did not think it would make a difference but the elf hat let me know that yes, it does make a difference! It has a little burn mark on the back and I covered it with a second pompom. The drum was SUPER challenging and I actually want to re-make it but I do not know if I can put myself through that again! LoL Although, I now have an idea for it to go smoother than it did today. My favorite is the baby shoe and the runner up is the top hat only because those gave me no trouble! :D I have a table top tree and these are the PERFECT size for that!
