The first card I made is the one with the brown mug. I didnt have much trouble fussy cutting the mug using scissors and an X-acto knife, but the second, third, and fourth times I tried it, I made a mess of it. I decided to buy the die set that goes with this stamp set. You still need to be careful about placing the die, but it does a great job.
