How to Create a Frame Around Your Scrapbook Layout

Hi There! Placing a faux frame around a scrapbook layout really puts the focus on my photos, and its so easy to do.

First I grouped my photos into as close to a square as I could its actually a rectangle, but the sides are pretty close in size.

Next I trimmed the scrapbook paper to 10x10 and mounted it on the red woodgrain scrapbook paper. Expert tip: since the back of the page isnt seen, I cut a 9x9 square out of the center of the red woodgrain paper. That size leaves enough overlap when attaching the holly print paper. And I now have a large piece to use on another layout.

Finally, I added three embellishment clusters around the photos. Its as simple as 1-2-3, and a great look.
