88th Birthday Dinner

Moms 88th Birthday celebration in November. She requested paella from our favorite Spanish restaurant, but being a weekend, we opted for carry out to avoid the crowds. I got all her favorites and added a bottle of Spanish wine for dad (who takes his wine very seriously from the expression on his face!). After dinner, there were presents to open and her favorite cake, strawberry shortcake (with added variety of berries)

The flower patterned paper was fussy-cut, using the most awesome scissors (gifted to me by my SS, Lorna - thank you!) from a black and white paper stack, colored in with colored pencils. The sprinkles were stenciled and some of the sprinkles were colored with my favorite sparkly gold gel pen.
