Hi There! These fussy cut tuck spots add a lot of elegance to my junk journal. Heres how they are made.

Im working with a nice quality cardstock, so all I have to do is pick out the images I want to use, then cut them out. If you want to use an image on thin paper, then first coat the back with glue, and apply it to solid cardstock. Youll need cardstock weight, so the image doesnt tear.

No one knows what you started with, so feel free to cut off areas that are too thin. Remember when fussy cutting to hold the scissors still and move the paper to get a nice smooth cut.

After cutting out the images, I darkened the edges with brown ink using an ink blending tool. This helps the tuck spot to stand out on my page.

For both my horizontal and vertical tuck spots I applied glue to two sides of the fussy cut image, then adhered them to the page.

The last step is to select a journal card from the collection to tuck behind my images.

Love the elegance these tuck spots add to my junk journal.

Happy Scrapping!
