Double-page spread of us getting ready. I was worried about mixing the b&w with the color photos, but I think I pulled it off okay. Thank goodness for e-cuts, I didn't really know what I was going to put in the upper right corner.
Hidden Journaling (I didn't scan the page with it behind the large photo) reads: ''Every moment leading up to the wedding made me realize more and more how real the day actually was. First, waking up in a bed & breakfast down the street from the wedding site. Then donning my veil at the salon after getting my hair and makeup done with Jen. And finally these moments, getting ready behind the scenes. I was glad that I had only Mom and Jen help me get ready, it made these moments feel more intimate, like a closed-door rite of passage. Just as my mother had helped me dress in white for my baptism and my first communion all those years ago, she too was feeling the reality of this day as she helped me dress in white as a bride. It was a cherished moment of a cherished day.''
