These trumpet flowers are so pretty and so interesting! What great photos of them! Nice design for these photos too. She really had a way with plants and flowers!
I have always wanted to know the name of these flowers. I saw them in California once and never got around to naming them. Thanks. Beautiful. Love the background paper and your accent clusters.
Amazing! Such graceful flowers, so nice they all found new homes and continue to thrive. Your SIL must have had a special touch, this is a lovely tribute.
Sorry for the fuzzy photo - dim today. These are some of my sil's prized Angel Trumpets - "common name of flowering plants in the nightshade family. Woody trees with fragrant, pendulous flowers. Native to tropical regions of South America but considered extinct in the wild. Used as ornamental container plants." ~ journaling at bottom
The side journaling " Over the years Barb successfully grew 5 Angel Trumpet trees - bringing them into the garage in the Chicago winters. Due to health concerns, she was looking for homes for them - 2 went to neighbors in 2021. The last 3 were donated to Oak Park Conservatory - a botanical garden in Oark Park, IL."
