There are a lot of horizontal lines on the background paper, so I decided to create a vertical embellishment cluster through the middle of the photograph. This cluster placement really pulls your eye to the photo on this very busy scrapbook layout. Heres how I did it.

First, I pieced together the background from two different pieces of scrapbook paper. Love the camera print, but a full page of it is way too busy. Adding the simple red and white striped paper tames the camera paper a bit, and gives me a place for the page title.

Next I layered a few different sheets of paper behind the photo to bring focus to the picture. Plus the layers give me places to tuck embellishments.

Centered the title under the photo, then when to town adding stickers to create this fun vertical embellishment cluster. Notice that some are tucked between the layers of paper and the stickers all overlap.

Finally, I dotted a few enamel dots and small stickers around the cluster to finish off this fun, busy page.

Happy Scrapping!
