Give a Cheer
Bought gesso mini board, collaged newsprint paper randomly on it, going over the sides. The newsprint paper was a bit too yellow for me, so I added some rust and proem paints, rubbed them in, wiped off, then used Holtz Damask stencil with Dina Wakley umber paint, then used Holtz circles stencil and used Wakleys turquoise paint. The turquoise was a bit too bright, so I let it dry, then went over the same dots with white and rust mixed together, then I randomly added Wakleys Gilt paint. Then I added the white paper doily, random bits of neutral papers, the Holtz paper dolls, the paper flowers, and a piece of antique lace for the hanger. I attached the lace with mini antique brass tacs, which nailed into the wood. Lastly, I added a bit of umber paint under the two ladies, to give them a place to stand.
