The local parish church, about 3 miles away, is a huge old stone thing, freezing all year round despite at least some heating. They had a sort of free-for-all nativity this year - all the children who were interested could come along in their costumes and take part. I took four granddaughters - a sheep and three angels (one is lost in the photo)!
The church was almost unbearably cold but we suffered through to the bitter end, and the kids had a great time.
As it was part of Christmas - and a celebration on Christmas Eve - it had to go in the Christmas album!
