Nice LO. I use to hate missing the races because of rain cancelations too. Wonderful job on the challenge. Like the idea of using a model car tires to the the tread marks...smart thinking. TFS!

A page for my husband. Journalling reads: April 30, 2006 Ronnie has waited so long to go to his first NASCAR race. He was so disappointed when the race was rained out and he couldn't go to the makeup race the next day because he had work.

Quote says: I feel the need, the need for speed. From Top Gun. I know it's an airplane movie not a racing one. LOL But it fits.

Someone asked... the checkered part on the bottom is not patterned paper. I made it by cutting out identical squares and putting them on very carefully. It probably would've been a lot easier to buy pp. And the tire marks on the top were made by a model car.
