I created my mixed media background on a sheet of smooth thick cardstock using Shimmerz Paints (my favorite!).
I cut the heart from another sheet of cardstock and layered on top with foam between the layers for dimension.
I painted the florals in the clusters using Shimmerz.
I used Pops of Color around the border of my heart and it looks much better in person...they were the perfect finishing touch.
