Hi There! Filled the two pocket folder with an array of interesting inserts that add texture, but little bulk to my junk journal. Heres how to make them.

The two pocket folder is really easy to make. I scored the paper at the height of the other pages, then folded the short side up to form the pockets. Next I scored down the middle, as my pages are 6 wide. A bit of glue on each side of the pockets and its complete. I sewed the two pocket folder in the center of the signature, but you can place it anywhere you like.

Next I filled the pockets with fun inserts. I made two scrap pads to hand over each pocket. These are easy to make and add so much journal space, plus they are a great way to use up scrap paper.

Inside the pocket are three inserts. One cut from paper in the collection, then backed with solid paper to allow one side to be a journal area.

The other two inserts are cream cardstock cut to the size of my embossing folders. Embossing folders add so much texture, but no bulk. Simply placed the cardstock inside the embossing folder, then ran it through my Sizzix machine.

After embossing the inserts I added more definition by applying a light coat of ink. The ink really brings out the embossed pattern.

I have lots more fun inserts in my Little Mermaid junk journal, so stop back to see them.

Happy Scrapping!
