The first two photos show the folio cover. The spine and lowest level background were painted using a dry brush and Paper Artsy paint. The pink damask background was made by stamping and embossing the pattern and then spraying with ink distress stains. The embossing masks the ink sprays but gives them a weathered look. I made the flowers with funky florals. The frame is an Ideology frame that I painted and covered with crackle paste. I used Ranger Tim Holtz Foundry Wax on the metal pieces and then used paint in the crevices to create the patina look. The botanical is from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology palette ephemera. .I covered it with mica. Lots of antique and vintage things on the cover- china paint vials, button clusters, etc. The pages that follow show them in order of how they look when flipped open so you see how they look layered on top of one another. As I was making the pages I planned what would be seen on each layer. For more details on each page and the products I used to make them you can see my earlier posts of individual pages. Thanks so much for looking.
