Give a Cheer
For this oversized mixed media tag, I started with 49 + Market paper and began layering rub on transfers from the following sets: Sky and Navy Blue, ARTOptions Alena collection. From there I hand painted laser cut chipboard from Scrapaholics - Doilies and Flourish Dragonfly large, as well as the sentiment "inspire" from the Journey word set - in a hand mixed deep blue acrylic and rubbed on waxes from Finnabair. I added some floral die cuts from 49+Market Countryside Laser Cut Wildflowers, as well as flowers from various collections.
This project is bolder than my norm, but speaks to me and reflects a journey coming out of some intense and deep, dark spiritual growth and flourishing out of a cocoon back into the world to reach others and reflect the beauty of this world.
