Give a Cheer
I made this sweet card for one of my nieces using a very sweet digital image by A Day For Daisies called My Lily. I've coloured the image with Copic Markers, but used Distress Oxide Inks to create the cloudy sky and grass. I used a homemade stencil to create the clouds and an older Whimsy Stamps die to add the double stitch border on the image. The lovely floral embossed white cardstock is an older one from Doodlebug, long out of stock. Fun to use up some older stash! I added the image at an angle to the cardbase over a paper doily, first wrapping some thin pink satin twine around several times for a bit of added interest. The image was popped up on foam for a bit of dimension. The doily was secured first with liquid glue. A clean and simple design from me, I didn't even add a sentiment, as I really loved how it looked without.
