Not quite certain why I am always surprised at how long it really takes to create these cards!! This time, it was the saguaro cactus that had me completely perplexed. I finally used the Tim Holtz Water Colour Pencils for the cactus and the Copics, Spectrum Noir Tri Blend, and Chameleon Markers for the pot.
This is a work-center "group card" for a colleague's mother who passed away just over a week ago. My colleague loves plants and nature s but more-so exotic plants rather than roses, daffodils, and so forth -- this is what I came up with --
I additionally created an extra card as I am positive many will want to sign this card in memory of her mother.
