I make cards in batches for a young friend of mine. He has a girlfriend who likes them, and he stockpiles them for when hes in the doghouse for, well, being a young man! This was one I made for him to give herand she does have the most beautiful smile!

The leafy frame die is from Altenew, and I used it to cut three frames from 100lb paper and adhered them together, sandwiching the acetate piece between the first and second layers.

Then I got to work on my favorite part: ink blending! I used Oxide Distress Inks in bundled sage and chipped sapphire. I was surprised at the lovely color the blend of the two made.

Once the ink blending was heat set, I placed 1/8 scor tape on the back of the inside frame, added my shaker elements, glued a few shaker elements to the ink blended piece and then adhered the two pieces together.

For the sentiment, I stamped and heat embossed in white a sentiment from Honey Bee and die cut the smile in both white and navy to add dimension.

I happened to have matching CS on hand to make an envelope!

Heres to young men everywhere who feel like they always have their foot in their mouths!
