I know this project isn't exactly seasonal right now, but I'm entering this card in the Christmas Card Prep challenge in the Scrapbook.com forum. I'm also working on reorganizing my pages of Christmas projects at KnittingCrochetCrafts.com in hopes that they'll be better organized for this coming Christmas!
I stenciled the background of this Christmas card using an Altenew stencil plus Distress Oxide inks plus Scrapbook.com's Pops of Color.
The stickers are from the Candy Cane Lane collaboration between Scrapbook.com and Prima that they were giving away as a freebie last Christmas season. I'm pretty sure they're out of stock on those exact stickers, but last time I checked, they had other stickers from Prima's Candy Cane Lane collection still available. (But, PLEASE do not buy them all, because I'm hoping to get more of them, too! haha)
I just discovered Frank Garcia's work recently, and I am enchanted by it! Frank includes lots of interesting details and special touches on his card designs. One of the things he likes to do is put little tiny dots of shimmer on his cards. After seeing that, I decided to try putting shimmery faux "stitches" on this card using a Happy Planner stencil.
