For Valentine's Day, DH and I went to several Antique stores in our hometown. I found this tin rocking chair. The chair is made out of a tin can. The top and bottom of the can is the lid and bottom of the can. The rest is the can itself that has been cut into strips and then quilled.

I painted the rocking chair white and then I used a embroidery hoop pin cushion I found at HL. I took the hoop off and covered the pin cushion part in blue fabric and then a strip of lace then put the hoop back on to hold the fabric and lace in place.

For the back of the rocking chair, I cut a piece of chipboard to fit then adhered batting and then covered it in blue fabric and lace. I made all the stick pins.

The last picture shows the Rocking Chair before I altered it.
