Give a Cheer
This is a pic of me and my "big sister" Susan (sgoetter) at her home in Florida back in June 2006. The pink piece at the top was hand cut then doodled with dark brown "stitching" and the I added the scallops to the edge. To make the scallops I cut a narrow strip of cardstock with decorative scalloped scissors and then cut small slits along the straight edge so it would curve, then laid it around the edge of the pink and traced the scallops with a dark brown pen. The brown loopy border was fussy cut from pp. When I cut out the flowered piece for the middle background I cut around a couple of the pink flowers on the top edge. The yellow flowers on each side of the photo were cut with an x-acto knife the the photo slid under them. The orange flower, leaves, house, and little bird were fussy cut from various pps. The pink strip border was made with a punch from Stampin' Up. The music notes were stamped in tan and outlined in brown. The flip-flops and title letters are stickers. The tag at the bottom was stamped in tan and then I added the brown dots by hand. The brown scalloped border around the photo was made with decorative scissors. Lastly, I added Nuvo drops around the title and on the pink striped border. Thanks so much for stopping by :)
