I spotted this adorable hummingbird in Two Harbors, California (which is located off the coast of Los Angeles, on Catalina Island).

I was motivated to create this layout to fit a challenge theme in a forum at another website. I would never have arrived at this particular combination of elements if it hadn't been for that challenge. I LOVE participating in challenges because challenges often give me inspiration for approaching projects in ways I would not have thought of on my own. This is a perfect example; I love the way this page turned out, but it is not something I would have ever thought of doing without input from another crafter.
