When I looked at this photo I spotted the bunch of long-stemmed poinsettia in the tall vase. And I remember my Mum telling me that, for years, she received these lovely flowers on her birthday. This changed when they became too expensive and she was given potted poinsettias instead. I added some hidden journaling to this LO.

The photo dates back to December 1959, my Mum turned 35, I was just about 2 months old and my sister (in the photo) was 15.
