Altered Paintbrush for Jody

I made this for Jody! It was a black paintbrush to start with and I used white Gesso first, then added Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paste translucent. It didn't work too well so I added his crackle paste in clear. When that dried I used Finnabair Metallique Wax Electric Violet. It was a little darker than what I wanted so I used Deco Art Lavender Frost Metallic Paint, then cover it with a little Mellique Wax in Peacock and Old Silver.

Time for decorating! I used Reneabouquets beautiful board, lace, and a dragonfly (from Laura)! Erin gave me the pretty hummingbird, the little bird nest was from Robbie, the lavender stickles and BFS Peacock Feathers glitter from Carri. Thank you, my friends!

The teal lace was from Aliexpress, the flowers and little multi-colored bottle and Swarovski crystals was from my stash.
