Journaling reads: "These photos were made in Mama and Daddys back yard in the summer of 1975. I was 16 years old and getting ready to start my senior year in high school. The little silver poodle was Teddy Bear. He belonged to Susan and Allen. The little Chihuahua mix was Honi. She belonged to us me, Mama, and Daddy. The two kittens, Sister and Tom, were strays that took up with us. Puppies and kittens always make life happier and create a lot a sweet memories."

This page was mostly made with scraps from Basic Grey's Max & Whiskers collection. The large circle was hand stitched using one strand each of three colors of DMC - gold, rust, and black. As I worked I twisted the floss to give it a rope effect. The dog and cat are really old stickers from my stash. I used Fiskars Upper Crest punch on the dark brown piece behind the photos. The dark brown strips along the edges of the triangle were made using decorative scissors. The smaller circles are punched. The inking was done with dark brown. The title was made by stamping the words in gold on a beige pp. Then I outlined the letters with a dark brown and added some dots. Lastly, I fussy cut the title. Thanks so much for stopping by :)
