The hidden journaling on this layout says: I love tulips. One of the best places to see them in bloom is in Holland at Keukenhof, also known as the Garden of Europe. It is one of the world's largest flower gardens, situated in the municipality of Lisse, in the Netherlands. The garden is 40 km (25 miles) and a little over an hour outside of Amsterdam. I didnt go when we went to Amsterdam in June 2016 but plan to visit the next time I go.
Keukenhof Tulip Gardens is open from around March 23 till 14 May. Its the best day out among the tulips near Amsterdam! Every year, more than 7 million flower bulbs are planted by hand in the autumn to flower in spring. There are a variety of 800 different tulips. A unique and unforgettable experience for everyone. The staff at Keukenhof Gardens works very ohard to grow and ensure that the seven million tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and spring bulbs are in bloom during this eight-week period. In addition to the huge flower garden, the flower park is also the largest statue garden of the Netherlands. You can admire many statues made by national and international artist.
