I am revisiting some old techniques so for this LO I used the tissue technique to create the large bee, the hives and flowers. I let everything dry overnight and am amazed how sturdy the images are, you could even machine stitch them! I used gold Pixie powder to colour the "queen" bee and gold embossing powder to emboss the stencil paste pieces.

This LO was done to document a notable decline in insect numbers this year, especially bees! The flower varieties in our garden were planted with these little dudes in mind, let's hope there will be more coming to visit because we love to hear them buzzing around.
