These are two of our precious grandchildren - Taylor and Trey back in the late summer of 2019. This photo was made a couple of months before our son and his wife officially adopted them. I can't believe it's been over four years now since they came into our lives and I couldn't imagine life without them.
For this page, I used Sassafras Lass' Hog Heaven collection and Authentique's Cheerful collection. The striped border was punched with EK Success' Large Edger Circles punch and then inked with black. I trimmed the sides of the photos leaving white borders at the top and bottom and then cut those white edges with deckle scissors. The tags (clear stickers from Heidi Grace) were layered on white and then I cut them out with small scallop scissors and pop-dotted them to add dimension. The narrow b/w ribbon is from my stash. The large b/w staples are really old (you have to hammer them in). The yellow butterfly is a brad. The title was made using Annie Lang's book - 202 Paper Piecing Patterns. I cut the letter my hand and then doodled them with a black pen. Then I drew the smiley face, coloring in the mouth and tongue. The nose was hand cut. Lastly, I added some fun googley eyes. Thanks so much for stopping by :)
