This layout is so beautiful and touching that it brought tears to my eyes. I agree that it should be submitted as soon as possible! I'm new and didn't realize that there was a "my favorites" section! This is the first one that I've saved!
I'm new to the board and wanted to tell you that this is the most touching layout I thik Ive seen!!!
Awesome job, and a wonderful example of how pictures say more than a thousand words!!!!

This is a very touching layout, one that you should be so proud of for so many reasons beyond the 'scrapbook stuff'....you need to get this published.....I already put it in my favs, I think it is something everyone needs to see and remember! Your son is lucky to have you and your family is truly special!
I read your journaling and immediately put it into my faves.. I LOVE THIS and the teachings of your home and your belief that no one should be judged on their differences. This is truly awe inspiring.. thank you so much for sharing!!! a wonderful photo... beautiful lo!!!
This layout is a very special layout to me, and I hope it doesn't offend anyone! The journaling is hidden, and says:
"This world can be a very cruel place, and people can be very unaccepting. Many different people make up the world, and their differences are what make life so interesting. This photo of you and your very best friend, Ashton, reminds me of a special moment. At the very moment I snapped this photo, I came to the realization that although hatred and racism still exist in this world, it doesn't exist in our home, through our teachings. This photo proves to me that we have at least been successful at doing our part in teaching you to see beyond a "difference". You don't see the world in "Black and White"; we have successfully taught you to see the full, blooming color of diversity and to appreciate that no one should be judged by their differences, for in our household, the dream is alive and will forever live on. May you always have the courage to stand up for your beliefs, and to help stand up for the rights of others who may not have a loud enough voice."
The transparency has the "I Have a Dream" speech by ML King printed on it, and is adhered over the photo. Stickers by Pebbles Inc, Sweetwater, etc. Ribbons by Offray and Making Memories. Envelope from 2 Peas. Bookcloth by Chatterbox.
