Red stands for courage, hardiness, and bloodshed. White stands for purity and vigilance. White stands for purity and vigilance, purity because our country is independent and not corrupted by any other country. Vigilance because our country needs to be alert and careful in our choices.Blue stands for justice and perseverance. The stars represent the states and the stripes the original colonies.
The pledge was intended to ensure that younger people knew to respect that flag and prevent any more civil conflicts.
One of the main reasons we honor the flag is to respect our country and the liberties that we enjoy here, which means paying respects to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
The flag notifies others that the United States is our land, our country and that we are unified, supportive of our nation and our people. This flag is a banner of one nation under God. Let no one take our freedom, EVER!
The American flag is deeply-rooted in the traditions of our country. we stand, salute, and put our hands over our hearts, pledging allegiance and singing The Star spangled Banner.
