Love everything on this page. The photo blends so well with the lavender colors. The eclectic design enhances the vintage photo. Love the clock and the film strip...Carol
What an amazing heritage layout! You certainly did this great family photo justice! I love the bouquet with the lilacs in it. They always remind me of my grandma's house.
Beautiful layout, I loved reading all the steps it took to create your masterpiece. At first I thought “1963 is Heritage?†then had to grin internally as yes I am getting there!! Great embellishments and fussy cutting.
What a beautiful layout! I love the texture paste bricks and the stamped lace you added to the background, and your fussy cut flowers and clock are great embellishments.
I love this layout, it is absolutely GORGEOUS !!! You sure put a lot of love into it, and those bricks are amazing, the raised filmstrip, and I love how the scalloped die cut around the framed photo really draws attention to it. Everything just works!
I love this heritage page. So many rich details (my eyes are torn between the stenciling and the filmstrip - glad they are close together LOL)! The more I look at this, the more details and labors of love I see.
I really enjoyed making this heritage layout. I found this picture in my box and decided to use it. I went through several papers but decided on BFS Eclectic Charm. First, I used Tim Holtz paper distresser around the edges, I fussy cut the extra page of flowers and also the pretty clock. I raised up the bouquet with foam tape. Then I used my homemade texture paste on the TCW Mini Bricks. When it was dry I added some Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink to tone down the white. Then I added the clock.
I stamped some lace on the top and bottom, roses and memories. Then I added the journal card, then the picture that was backed on the green Eclectic Charm paper and added pictures to the film strip that was from K & Company. I had to glue it down even though it was a sticker. Added a brooch from my stash topped with a droplet of scissors, ruler, flower, & spool of thread from Jess, then lace, also from Jess. The gold diecut around the picture was from Carri. I then added pretty butterflies and a half-back pearl on the clock from Reneabouquets. Family Memories, also from Eclectic Charm, added to it. "Memories" stamp was from Gabrielle Pollacco The Scrapbook Diaries and the tiny key was from Tim Holtz.
