Give a Cheer
I started out by adding texture through a stencil and then adding some minty color with Art Philosophy watercolors. You can really amp up the color by adding less water to your paint, making it a more concentrated. I built up layers of flowers and ephemera on top, keeping it uncluttered to let the butterflies really be the crowning achievement. I gently fluffed the wings on these beauties and added them to the top of the floral cluster.
