Pineapples have such great texture and I wanted to replicate that in this mixed-media project!
The Paradise Found paper from @the3girlstale Postcards from Paradise collection has a lovely netting texture that reminds me of a pineapple, so I fussy cut it out to add to the body of my pineapple, popping it up by using foam adhesive or placing it in my flower cluster.
But before popping on the flowers and fussy cut elements, I added some texture with Finnabairs Modeling Paste with the Art Deco Wall Stencil because the fan shape reminds me of the leaves on top ot a pineapple
I then added lots of chartreuse and aqua flowers from the Postcards from Paradise collection. I think these colors pop so well on the pastel background. I also tucked in
ephemera, a chipboard sticker, and some gems.
