Give a Cheer
To make this card I started by stamping the kitty with gift from the Colorado Craft Company's stamp No Peeking onto a square approximately 2.75". I then used alcohol markers and colored pencils to color it. I then cut used my corner rounder and rounded off all 4 corners. I cut another piece of cardstock slightly larger and rounded the corners and then used the matching grey alcohol marker to go around just the edges then using Bearly Art glue I attached the two together.
For the plaid background I used Tim Holtz die set Layered Plaid and cut it from cardstock closely matching my package and cat. I cut and layered as intended except I did add one extra layer of pink Plaid behind the grey. I attached that to my card base using Bearly Art glue. I found a Happy Birthday die from my stash and cut it twice once in black cardstock and once in white. I used the matching alcohol markers to color the white one then glued the two together slightly off, to give a shadow effect. Lastly I attached my stamped image and Happy Birthday to the card front.
I can't remember who makes my Happy birthday die but I did list a couple that are similar.
