Boba Time! (Hand-drawn BG + title!)

With a whole lot of help from the background remover app by the same developers!

I actually poured a LOT of work into this LO! The background pattern illustration is my own art, plus I hand-lettered the title and hand-wrote the journaling!

Getting a good photo of the boba pattern was impossible! I ended up relying a lot on Snapseed, a photo editing app, to get something that at least looked decent. The colors are not true to reality, but at least the digital version looks okay. I'll settle!

In order to use my title and journaling I used the background remover app a lot! The sketchbook page right next to the one with the boba pattern is super messy, filled with my failed attempts at the title and journaling shoved into all the remaining blank space!

So there was a lot of trying to get clear photos of small writing, then removing the background and cleaning up whatever the AI left behind, and then splicing things together in InCollage before I could even use them!

I feel the results were worth the effort. I love how this LO has a more traditional feel to it, despite being digital! I think I'll do stuff like this more often.

I encourage anyone brave enough to try making their own PP, it's so fun!
