Pics of me and my oldest daughter. I made the title with a computer font, vellum stickers and a flower cut from patterned paper. The initals are metal stencils I heat embossed to match my layout. The baby pic is my dd's hospital photo. The journaling tells a special story. It reads:

My dear Averi, you have been the center of my life since before you were born. I was so determined to have a child after Brandon died. I wanted so much to be a mother and I was frantic about your well-being. I prayed every day that you would be healthy and strong - that God would give me a baby to love and to watch grow. I felt doubly blessed when I heard you cry for the first time as I lay on the operating table. I knew that I appreciated you more than I would have had I not suffered a tremendous loss before you were born ------Fast forward eight years. You are so valuable to me. I do not think most people realize how much I rely on you for help each day. Just getting out of the house with your brother and sister is a chore. You help them with their shoes and coats and you can strap them into their safety seats like a pro. When it is time for dinner, you help them wash their hands and you sometimes read them stories at bedtime. Aaron and Aria are lucky to have you as a big sister. I think I would go crazy when Daddy is out of town if you were not here to help me. I know I have to remember that you are still just a little girl. I still have to make sure you bathe each night, check your homework, and make sure you read as much or more than you watch T.V. I know you sometimes wish you were not the oldest because you have more responsibility than your little brother and sister, but I promise not to make you grow up to fast. I love you so much and I really do not know what I would do without you.

I really like how it turned out. TFL
