Journaling reads: Benjamin, this is you with me and your daddy, over at Ma & Papa Skip's house back in December of 2000. You are wearing a shirt handed down to you from Adam. That shirt was one of y'alls favorites. The quote on the front said: If winning isn't important, why do they keep score? None of you played in competitive sports, you only played sports for fun. When we played games with you at home, we never were those parents that "let" you win. You had to win on your own. I think this fostered a drive in you to be competitive and do your best. I believe this drive has also helped you all to succeed in your jobs. To this day, we are all out to win when we play games together. Journaled on October 24, 2022.
