The dress in the photo was the inspiration for the layout. I started with a light green cardstock and added an 8" square of watermelon printed paper turned on its corner. Since it seemed too plain I bordered the square with a dark, green, metallic washi tape. The photo mat and title were both cut from black cardstock to stand out (like the seeds in the watermelon). I punched the trim on the bottom using a roller. After making sure all the holes were poked through with a cricut weeder I embroidered the loops with black floss. I also sewed on 3 buttons in graduated sizes. Finally, a corner in pink gingham was also added.
