Annie, congrats on completing this troublesome challenge. I have to say, the size of the "Trouble" circle keeps grabbing my attention away from the photos, but I think that can be remedied by using either red photo corners or red mats on the pics, since the reds on the pages do stand out the most. I also like Robyn's idea of using the center of the big ring for a photo. I'd lose the button and put Nicholas in there, and put the x9 circle in his place. I think Tiff's idea of dropping the rest of the nines will also help to avoid confusion.
Anne, you did a great job on this & good for you on getting the challenge done (unlike the other new girl...<ahem>). I really love that you made it a 2-page spread too, like there is a choice when there are 9 dogs involved!
I love the red title! You did great job on your first challenge! I think you can mat the photos on red cs. I also think you should do something to the " T" on Molly's photo to make it stand out a little bit more.
I love the little bit of red you've used on this LO. I think it would look nice to add red photo corner to the pictures or mat them on red cs. Great job on your first challenge.
Hi Annie! Very cute. I also love your "trouble" in the white circle. I can see a strip of your red ribbon running down the right side of the right page to bring in some more red. I also might have matted the "x9" circle in red, to set it off from the larger white circle. I might have taken advantage of the large empty space in the center of your white circle as a frame for another picture instead of the button. I can also see a red ribbon tied around your "t" on right page to mimic the ribbon around the bone on the same page. Very nice job on your first challenge!
Great job, Annie! I love the coordination with the polka dots on the paper with the ric rak and then the coordination of the ric rak with the braided rope. I have to agree with K. I'd love to see a little more red splashed throughout the LO either with photo corners or mounted photos. The 9x9 thingy throws me a bit, too. I am reading the title as "here come trouble times 9". If that is how you meant it, I'd leave off three of the 9s and maybe even use the words "times 9". Supercute LO and supercute doggies!
I love the prominat letters! The ric rac and the teared pp are fab! K has said everything I thought of. The only other thing is adding a date. What is that 9x9x9x9 thing anyway? Great job on the challenge :)
Annnie what a creative gal you are! Awesome take on the challenge. I love the way trouble is so prominent in those red letters and on that circle. Great idea, great look. I love that polka dotted ricrac on the 2nd page layout. I like the photo placement and overall look of this. The only suggestion I have is to add some more of that red in some areas. I would add some photo corners to frame the whole layout in red. So one top left hand photo on top left hand side. One top right hand corner on top right hand side and one bottom right hand corner on bottom right hand side. I don;t get the whole 9x9 thing? Is it nine dogs with nine lives? Haha I get it.
