October Is My Favourite Colour

Not really sure where I saw this sentiment but I knew immediately that it would make the perfect title for my autumn layout.

I outlined some Basic Grey monogram letters on white cardstock and created the missing letters (second o, e and c) myself. Then I fussy cut and ink smooshed them using distress oxide inks. I embossed each letter using TH 3D texture impressions folder (664488) to add leaf texture. I also added some Nuvo Aqua Shimmer but that does not come out too well on this photo.

I also worked with two AALL&Create stencils. I added DO inks to the leaf stencil (#155) on the front, spritzed it with a water then pressed it onto the white card stock. I applied a mix of colours through the second swirl stencil (#157) and also spritzed it with water and dabbed it dry. Some of the embellishments are by Craft Consortium (Deer, pheasant and Bluetit), others I either stamped directly onto the background or stamped and fussy cut. There are also some little bits of washi tape dotted about, mainly little bird images.
