A Layout for my Texas History Album.

I had decided to make a grid pattern with vintage pps for this layout. I wanted to run an alpha border across the lower section to anchor the photo of the historical marker. I had a bg picked already, and an alpha line border picked. I went looking in my embellishments for anything that might work with a vintage school layout. I specifically wanted a slate board. Everything I had was too modern. So I decided to look through my vintage pps I use to scrap my ancestors. I ran across the Heirloom stack from DCWV from 2011. All the pieces on this layout came out of that pack. In fact, the grid papers I used were already printed in a grid pattern in the stack. I needed a different configuration to fit my design, so I fussy cut them out. This layout practically made itself. In retrospect, I wish I had glued the embellishments to card stock layers to make them more dimensional. But, oh well, it works as is. Thanks to Terry for helping me search for embellishments.
